Application of fiber laser cutting in construction machinery industry

The main application of laser cutting machine in the construction machinery industry is plate processing. Generally, optical fiber laser cutting machine is used. The cutting application mainly includes long and thin workpieces, plate parts with more holes, process openings reserved for sheet metal parts, making sheet metal samples and drilling samples.


  Application in slender workpiece

  In addition, the heat generated by the laser cutting machine is relatively concentrated, and the heat affected area of the workpiece is small. The laser cutting machine can effectively control the thermal deformation of the workpiece in the engineering machinery industry, especially for the slender workpiece with required straightness. When the workpiece length reaches more than 5500mm, the "micro connection" function of the cutting machine itself can be effectively used To control the straightness of the workpiece.

  Application in the plate parts with more holes

  In the construction machinery industry, when laser cutting circular holes, in the face of a specific plate thickness, as long as the diameter of the workpiece circular hole is required to be greater than or equal to the corresponding minimum diameter value, and the roughness and diameter size are required to be within the range of the guaranteed capacity of the cutting machine, laser can be used to directly cut, eliminating the drilling process, and improving the labor production efficiency. For some workpieces with more holes, the position of the hole is determined by the laser dot function, which saves the time of locating the hole and the cost of making the drilling template for the subsequent drilling process, not only improves the production efficiency, but also improves the accuracy of the product.

  The application in the reserved technological notch of sheet metal parts

  The technological notch reserved for sheet metal parts is also called crack stop groove or technological hole. In sheet metal production, there are generally three forms of process notch design: the first is that two or more bending parts are adjacent, as shown in Figure 1; the second is that the bending part of an edge is completely bent in the length direction, as shown in Figure 2. For the second process notch, the traditional form is as shown in Figure 2, leaving a × B rectangle. If the laser cutting machine is used to cut the slit with length of a directly at this position during cutting, the laser cutting machine can be used to directly reserve the slit for some workpieces with high requirements. In the third form, when the two ends of the sheet metal parts cannot be supported on the lower die of the bending machine in the suspended position, the workpiece will be deformed. In this case, the laser cutting machine can be used to reserve a cutting seam during the blanking of the workpiece to prevent the workpiece from deforming during the bending. The blanking drawing and reserved cutting seam are shown in Figure 3.


  Application in making sheet metal template and drilling template

  In the construction machinery industry, for some irregular shaped workpieces, in order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the inspection of the blanking parts, the laser cutting machine is used to make blanking inspection samples, such as the support angle on the bulldozer scarifier, the large head plate on the excavator stick and the boom, etc.; for some rolled workpieces, the samples consistent with the arc shall be used in the production and inspection of workpieces In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the production and detection of workpieces, generally speaking, laser cutting and blanking are used to produce the sample plates of these workpieces, and the boundaries of arc and straight edge are marked on the sample plates with the marking function of laser cutting machine, such as the arc plates of bulldozer, the curved plates of bucket bar and boom of excavator, and the digging bucket.
